Chiropractors recognise the role inflammation plays in the presentation of neuromusculoskeletal conditions and chronic disease. Diet is emerging as an important factor in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammation and offers a potential therapeutic intervention as part of an integrated approach to holistic management of conditions of the nervous system and the brain.

This Webinar will cover:

    • The philosophy of food as a basis to therapeutic intervention by chiropractors
    • Discussion of dietary causation factors of chronic inflammation
    • Acid/base balance and its importance in NMS medicine
    • Gut Microbiome and LPS bacterial translocation linked to chronic disease
    • Current research linking diet and neuro-inflammation
    • How a chiropractor may incorporate food as a therapeutic within the context of NMS management

Chiropractors will gain:

    • A greater appreciation of the role food may play in the development of NMS conditions
    • Further understanding of the links between the ENS and CNS and the microbiome
    • Introduction to the research surrounding LPS and its role in neuro-inflammation
