Sports Chiropractic Australia (SCA) is Australia's national organisation for sports chiropractic and is a not-for-profit, clinical interest group of the Chiropractors' Association of Australia. SCA coordinates sports chiropractic care at community, state and national level sporting events. It also provides support to members who work with sporting teams.
Members of SCA have a special interest in working with athletes and promote best practice principles in the management of athletes in an evidence informed manner through science and research. SCA provides regular education and seminars to provide its members with the most up-to-date knowledge and skills in sports care.
SCA has regular communications with other national sports chiropractic councils and is a member of the International Sports chiropractic Federation (FICS).
What is Sports Chiropractic?
Sports chiropractic is a branch of chiropractic for those with an interest and expertise in treating athletes. The focus of sports chiropractic is to provide care in the conservative management, rehabilitation and performance optimisation of the neuromusculoskeletal system for athletes.

Sports Chiropractic Australia was established over 30 years ago, and has seen several name changes in that time. Sports Chiropractic Australia started out as the Australian Chiropractors' Association (ACA) Council on Sports Injuries and Performance.

Code of Conduct
The SCA Code of Conduct seeks to define those fundamental principles by which sports chiropractic members should conduct themselves in the practice of their profession.

All SCA members are bound by a professional code of conduct, and are dedicated to the safety, health and performance of athletes under their care. SCA members are passionate about sports chiropractic and the benefit it provides to athletes.
Fees: (Membership Period 1 October 2017 to 30 September 2018)
CAA Member: $150.00 (from 1 April 2018 this fee has been pro-rated to $75.00).
CAA Student: Free
Non member Chiropractors: $375.00
Non-member Student: $50
